Bastille Day on 18th Street -- "Eat French or Act French"

DC Bocce has been invited to participate in the Adams Morgan Bastille Day event TODAY -- Tuesday July 14th, by the Adams Morgan Main Streets Group. Get out and enjoy this fabulous weather and scope out Bocce's new 'hood.

Events begin at 4PM with the National Capital Club de Petanque giving lessons at the Marie Reed School field (2200 18th St. NW). Petanque is how the French do Bocce. This group should be out until 6.

6PM Kamel Zennia Band offers a free concert in front of Marie Reed school near the 18^th St entrance

8PM L'Enfant Cafe (2000 18^th St. NW, www.lenfantcafe.com) is the place to be for its famous annual French Maid Relay Race. Door Prizes and Drink Specials!

Napoleon Bistro (1847 Columbia Rd. NW, www.napoleondc.com) offers free champagne to any patrons wearing red, white, and blue.
