DC Bocce's favorite American Legion is hosting a live performance of local band Big Wide Grin on Monday, December 20th, starting at 7:30pm. This bi-coastal trio from California and Virginia brings diverse backgrounds of experience, music and theater together to form a rich, soulful, acoustic blend. It will move you to an understanding of their name: BIG WIDE GRIN.
They play festivals, concert series, shows, and select house concerts like this one, and have shared the stage with such artists as Janis Ian, Harriett Schock, Lowen & Navarro, Richie Havens, Bruce Hornsby and toured with legendary blues man Keb’ Mo’. Your favorite friends and bartenders at the Legion swear by the band. Join them for a great party featuring a collection of original and cover material from the likes of Steve Earle and Tracy Chapman to Sly & The Family Stone. Tickets will be sold for $10 at the door.
Got something to say? Then say it here! We're giving League members the opportunity to talk it up, share pictures, comment on the previous night's escapades, and keep the DC Bocce community alive and kicking all week long. For an invitation to blog all you have to do is ask.
