Drink Your Way to Wine Country!

Let's face it... we all play bocce not just for the bocce, but for the drinking too. Fortunately, the drinking is affordable at only $10 a pitcher... but did you know that you can also get rewarded for drinking??!

Enter the Peroni Ticket Contest: for every pitcher of Peroni or Blue Moon you purchase at your sponsor bar*, you'll receive 1 blank ticket.** Write your team name on that ticket and throw it in the bucket. At the end of every bocce night at 10:00 pm, we'll draw a few tickets from the bucket and award those teams with gift certificates! Depending on the week, you’ll have the chance to win gift certificates to your sponsor bar in $25 and $50 denominations.

But that's not all... at the end of the Spring season, we'll tally up all the tickets and award the top 4 drunkest teams teams with the most tickets the ultimate grand prize: a private Virginia Wine Tour! This will be a first class event. You and your teammates will get transported to Virginia wine country via a luxury limo bus, which will come stocked with cases of beer, water, and snacks for the journey. During the 6-hour tour, you’ll visit two wineries and sample all the vino the winery has to offer. A boxed lunch will also be provided and each team will receive a $100 gift card to spend on additional bottles of wine or snacks at the wineries. So make sure you come to bocce with your drinking hat on… only the top four teams with the most tickets across all 8 divisions will win!

So let's recap: you drink beer, you win prizes. I think that's what they call in the biz a win-win! And you don't only have to participate on bocce nights... swing by your sponsor bar any night of the week and you can accumulate tickets to increase your team's chances of winning gift certificates and the Virginia Wine Tour. Remember, the top four teams will win the ultimate prize along with the bad-ass reputation of out-drinking every other team in the League!
